Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizer on 2018 Keystone Outback Toy Hauler. Now your standard equalizer is just kind of a metal piece that transfers from the shackles on your leaf springs. So as one kind of goes up it'll kind of even it out and keep it equal. Well, what if you could add a little bit of cushion here to just soften up a little bit of blow And that's what the AllTreks gonna do. It is gonna allow for 4 inches of suspension travel. You have this rubber here that's 40% more than a typical equalizer that has rubber and it also has some nice brass sleeves here for our new wet bolts. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the MORryde AllTrek Equalizer System on a 2020 Keystone Montana. Now here's what they're gonna look like installed and this is gonna be a great, pretty easy upgrade to install. It's gonna give you a lot better suspension because of the ability to have a little bit more travel and that just means a better towing experience overall. Now our previous equalizer here, you can see that it does have rubber and that's gonna allow this to kind of move up and down and have that cushion. These are pretty loose here, which is fine. It does have that movement and each about I'd say an inch and a half so you have some movement up and down and that's where putting it side by side, you can see the AllTrek is, not only it seems like it's a little bit taller, but that's because you have four inches of movement here because you have this rubber that's supporting that weight and as this moves up and down, it's gonna be nice and even, it's not gonna be sloppy, and you're gonna get more of that suspension travel, which allows your suspension to move a little bit more, giving you a better ride overall. more

Now our previous equalizer here you can see that it does have rubber and that's gonna allow this to kind of move up and down and have that cushion. These are pretty loose here, which is fine. Today, we're gonna take a look at this MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for tandem axle trailers with the OEM or the Correct Track system and 2 1/4 inch long shackles. Now, this heavy-duty shackle kit is an excellent upgrade for your RV's suspension. Again, the application for this kit is tandem axle trailers with either the OEM or the Correct Track suspension system and the shackles are 2 1/4 inches long. This will also work on the MORryde SRE 4000 and CRE 3000 systems. But basically, the shackle here, these are 1/2 inch thick shackle brackets, which are a lot thicker and stronger, and they're more durable than the standard only 1/4 inch thick factory brackets. more

Basically, these newer trucks are being built to ride higher, so that means that your trailer may have to be raised to match that height. So if the two aren't the same height at the connection point, the nose of your trailer or your RVs going to ride too high, and the result of that will put too much weight on the rear of your trailer, which could result in poor handling and may eventually cause damage. Now, this 9/16 diameter shackle bolt is used to mount your leaf spring to your trailer's front or rear suspension hanger, and this part will include the locknut that secures the bolt to the hanger. Both these parts are a corrosion resistant zinc finish. This is for a quantity of one bolt and one locknut. Now, few dimensions, we'll start with the bolt itself, we mentioned the diameter on this, it's gonna be right at 9/16 of an inch. more

Today we have a 2005 Keystone Montana and we're gonna be installing and taking a look at MORryde SRE4000 suspension upgrade kit with crossmember. Review of Dexter Trailer Leaf Spring Suspension - Center Hanger Slipper Spring - 29-43-2- Video
Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at this center hanger for three-inch wide slipper springs. This center hangar is going to work with multi-axle trailer suspension systems that have three-inch slipper springs, and this is configured as a center hanger and it suspends your equalizer on tandem or triple axle trailers. This is designed for trailers with 10,000 pound and 12,000 pound Dexter axles. And the holes that are located here on the top are for spot welding, and each of these holes have a diameter of 5/8 of an inch and they are separated on center by 2 3/4 inches. The diameter of our hole is 1 1/8 inches so this will work with 1 1/8 inch in diameter bolts and those bolts are sold separately, but they can be found here at etrailer.com. And measuring the height of this hanger, measuring from the center of our hole to the top, you can see we're sitting right at 4 1/8 inches. more

Basically, you insert this bushing into the equalizer of your leaf spring suspension to ensure proper sizing for your equalizer bolts. Basically this Leaf Spring center bolt is a piece of hardware and it's finely threaded down the entire length. And it has the round button head at one end. This Bronze Suspension Bushing is going to measure in overall right in at two and a half inches long and then the outer diameter, we are sitting right at one inch and then that inner diameter, as you can see, we are sitting right at three quarters of an inch. Now this will fit a three inch diameter round trailer axle which are most 5,200 pound to 7,200 pound axles. This plate is used with U-bolts to secure the axle to the leaf springs which are then mounted to the trailer frame. These do attach using two half inch diameter U-bolts. Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement U-bolt with nuts. This U-bolt in conjunction with a U-bolt plate and an additional U-bolt is going to attach your round five inch in diameter, 10,000 pound Hayes axle to your leaf springs which are mounted to your trailer frame. This U-bolt, as you can see here, includes these two nuts and the diameter of this bolt is five eighths of an inch. Let me retrieve my ruler here to give you some other measurements. The overall, what I'm calling the inside length here, we are sitting right at nine and a half inches long and the width we're sitting right at five inches. more

This plate uses two 1/2" in diameter U-bolts that are sold separately to attach your 3" in diameter trailer axle to your 2" wide leaf springs. This is constructed of zinc plated steel per ASTM specifications, and the plate thickness is 0.23", and the overall length we are sitting, as you can see there, right at 5-7/8" long. Now this is an easy flex equalizer, which will serve as a replacement equalizer on the easy flex suspension kits which we sell separate on our website. Those kits, this will fit the K71-653-00, fits the K71-657-00, and the K71-655-00. It is designed to work with the existing hangers and it won't alter the right height of your trailer. Hey guys, Kevin here with the etrailer, and today we gonna be showing you how to install the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for tandem axle trailers, here on a 2014 Jayco Pinnacle Fifth Wheel Trailer. These heavy duty gas shocks are filled with nitrogen and what that's gonna do is help eliminate your trailers bouncing, chucking and porpoising. So when you're going over those bumpy roads you're seeing your wheels kind of flop up and down, you're getting a whole lot of vibration all the way up through your truck, and it kinda throw off your handling while you're towing as well. So it can be kind of an issue safety-wise, it's gonna help eliminate some of that and then also limit the amount of motion your trailer can go because the compression is only gonna go so far in and then so far out with the shocks. And what that's gonna do is help all that side to side movement, your up and down movement and then also your front to back movement, so that you're not getting all of that motion traveling through your trailer and then up into the tow vehicle. This is a completely bolt on installation. more
